Feathered Tippet

Total adoption opportunities

This exquisite, rare feathered pelerine (or tippet) was donated to the Museum in 1893, and was likely inspired by the London visit of Hawaiian royalty, King Kamehameha II and Queen Kamāmalu, in 1824. Little else is known about this mysterious artisanal piece, but one thing is for sure: it’s a thing of extraordinary beauty.
