Description
Millions of years ago, this 10-metre-long reptile lorded over the inland sea that once covered present-day South Australia. Today, these fragments of the Addyman Plesiosaur’s opalised skeleton are the literal jewel of our fossils gallery, discovered in an Andamooka opal mine in 1968 and reconstructed in tribute to its former glory.
