Description
A prolific botanical artist, Rosa Catherine Fiveash dedicated much of her life (1854-1938) to illustrating the flora of South Australia. Frequently commissioned by the government, Fiveash’s watercolour illustrations of the Museum’s collection made regular appearances in the scientific journals of the day. Fittingly, the Museum’s collections hold many examples of Fiveash’s work.
