Description
This jaw-dropping specimen leaves visitors under no illusion why the Tyrannosaurus rex has long been regarded as one of the most fearsome dinosaurs ever to roam the planet – from giant, banana-sized teeth to the bone-crushing force created by a special joint in its lower jaw. Cast from a specimen unearthed in Montana, USA, in 1908, this skull has been with the Museum for a century.
